Pelican Case Review

Four years ago I decided to buy a Pelican case from this homeless man at a gas station. I picked up a Pelican 1650 from the homeless man for $40 and threw it in the back of my truck. Later, I decided to pay the Pelican showroom store in Torrance a visit to try and pick up some pick and pluck for my new(used) 1650 case. Amazing customer service by them for giving me a huge discount on the pick and pluck, can’t remember how much but I remember leaving very happy with a new foam set. After about 2 years of heavy use, throwing the case around, using it as a place to sit or stand I noticed the lid wasn’t closing flush all the way and was beginning to raise concerns as I didn’t want any water getting into the case. I called Pelican, told them what was going on and in about 2 weeks I had a Brand new 1650 case at my door, (no foam included). Not only did they send me a brand new 1650 case, it was a newer model of the 1650 as I had the older model with the hard to open latches. They did not want my defected case back so I ended up keeping it, all they asked is for me to drill 3 holes on the lid of the case, my guess is to void the case. I was very pleased with the customer service at Pelican I decided to pick up two additional cases, a 1550 for my camera gear and drone, and a 1150 to use as a medical kit. I honestly recommend Pelican cases to anyone wishing to secure and protect their gear.

If you wish to check out any of these cases I will link them below.
